Been listening to Say Something for almost a week now... ❤️ it. The intro is totally space disco, but it takes almost a full minute to get to the EXCITING “Say Something” chorus. Right after Kylie says “Say Something, tell me how you’re feeling” she has even more to say, and well, there went the potentially amazing chorus. The song doesn’t really pick up until the final minute. It would truly be perfect if they reworked it to add a little more to “Say Something” so it doesn’t transition so abruptly. Having too much to say caused the track to lose momentum with a really banger chorus. That was a missed opportunity. Not a bad song overall but I can’t not hear the abrupt transition to the next verse. ❤️
Call it ageism, blame it on radio... but the chorus is unfinished. The average listener isn’t going to wait 3 minutes for the grand finale. YOU will as a hardcore fan but Kylie needs more support from non-fans to be successful too.
